A 6-story residential building comprising 125 rental units built to high performance standards for comfort and efficiency.
Scope of Work:
Insulated 100,000 sq. ft. of exterior and interior walls and mechanical spaces with fiberglass batt insulation for thermal and sound control.
Fully insulated all interior partitions, including washrooms, closets, and mechanical rooms, ensuring consistent acoustic and thermal performance.
Ceiling cavities for all floors were filled completely with fiberglass batt insulation per project specifications.
Result:
Our crew earned praise from the site supervisor for being among the most professional on site.
Every inspection was passed on the first attempt with zero deficiencies. Work was completed on schedule, reinforcing our reputation for quality workmanship and reliability.

Challenge:
During our site assessment, we identified a mismatch between the specified 7.5-inch-deep wood studs and the 8-inch insulation designated for the assembly—risking compression, air leakage, and reduced thermal performance.
Solution:
We proposed and implemented a switch to R28HD (high-density) insulation, maintaining full R-value while ensuring a perfect fit within the cavity.
